Blocks of Gouda required continuous flow to match a new slicing line but manual bag loading slowed everything. The Rolling-Type Packaging Machine formed film rolls into pouches and heat sealed them around each three kilo cheese block.

Output climbed from sixteen to twenty eight packs per minute while film scrap fell by twelve percent thanks to servo-controlled cutting. Changeover between block and wedge formats now takes eight minutes instead of twenty five. Retailers reported zero seal failures during a six-month trial which helped the factory secure an additional private label contract.
